National Football Championship 2021-22 to be held in Kozhikode, Kerala  from 28 November.

New Delhi: Midfielder Deepika Venkatesh will lead Delhi Senior Women’s Team in 26th Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2021-22 to be held in Kozhikode, Kerala from 28 November.

Football Delhi selection committee named the squad of 20 players after 2 months long camp held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Delhi has been placed in Group D with Jharkhand, Karnataka and Goa and will start campaign from 29th November.

Last year Captain, Jyoti Ann Burrett will not travel with the team due to an injury occurred just before a day, the team was leaving for the tournament. This is the first time; she won’t be the part of the team since 2009.
