‘The A-Team’ set up a date with ‘Baale Golf’ in Lloyd DGCL Final

New Delhi: The ‘A-Team’ played some brilliant golf to upstage Defending Champions ‘BMW Deutsche-Motoren’ and set up a ‘FINAL’ clash with ‘Baale Golf’ post the Semi-Finals of the ‘Lloyd Delhi Golf Club League – Powered by Vredestein Tyres’.  Ironically, the two teams that lost were Winners (BMW-Deutsche-Motoren’) and runners-up (Christie’s Golf’ then called ‘K’s Devils’) respectively, in the inaugural year – 2021.

In the first Semi-Final of the day, ‘The A-Team’ won 4 of their 7 games against team ‘BMW Deutsche-Motoren’ and with a total of 10 points cruised into the Finals.  BMW-Deutsche-Motoren on their part    could muster only 6 points.

In the second Semi-FInal, ‘Baale Golf’ staged an upset, to nudge last year’s runners-up ‘Christies’ Golf’ out of the tournament.  The winners tallied 9 points as against the 5.5 points that ‘Christie’s Golf’ managed.

The League, being played at the historic par-72 Delhi Golf Club course, features 13 days of hard-fought golf and will conclude in a Grand Finale on October 22, 2022.
