Ahemdabad: In a move to captivate cricket fans and build hype for the upcoming TATA IPL 2024 season, Star Sports orchestrated a visual spectacle during the International Kite Festival in Ahmedabad. The event, held on January 13th, unfolded at the Sabarmati riverfront, transforming the festival into a celebration of cricket and culture.

The kite flying contest, a quintessential part of Makar Sankranti festivities, was ingeniously linked to the fierce competition in the IPL. Drawing parallels, the event emphasized that, much like in the IPL, only the best can lay claim to victory

Adding a unique touch, large kites adorned with the faces of IPL team captains graced the skies, each representing their respective squads. The visual spectacle served not only as a vibrant display of team colors but also brought the rivalry and competitive spirit to life. The contest brought alive the shared emotion of togetherness, reminding everyone of the thrill of watching a spectacle unfold.

As the kites danced in the sky, so too did the excitement for the impending IPL 2024 season, with fans eagerly awaiting the battles and rivalries set to unfold on the cricket field.
