New Delhi: Sun shine with full power for South Delhi Superstarz here on Sunday as they beat West Delhi Lions by 69 runs in Delhi Premier League T20 match at Arun Jaitley stadium.

Brilliant half centuries by Ayush Badoni and Tejasvi Dahiya helped South Delhi Superstarz put up the highest total of Delhi Premier League T20  on Sunday afternoon.
They scored 228 for the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 20 overs and in reply West Delhi team were all out on 159 runs in 17.4 overs.This is fourth loss in five matches for West Delhi team. South Delhi have won four matches out of five.

The previous best score of DPLT20 was 217 scored by Central Delhi team.

Player of the match Ayush Badoni shine with bat and ball and controlled the match with high level of captaincy. Badoni scored 57 runs and took 2 wickets.

West Delhi team started in aggressive style but could not maintain the momentum. Openers Ankit Rajesh Kumar (47) and Krish Yadav (28) added 76 runs in5. 2 overs, after that only Aryan Dalal(32) and Ekansh Dobal (18) could managed to stay for some time but their efforts were not good enough for the team. Ayush Badoni, Shubham Dubey, Kuldeep Yadav and Digvesh Rathi got 2 wickets each.

Earlier in the sunny afternoon South Delhi lost the toss and asked to bat first. Captain Ayush Badoni ( 57 runs, 28 balls, 6×6, 2×4), Tejasvi Dahiya ( 57 runs, 23balls, 6×6, 3×4) and opener Priyansh Arya ( 45 runs, 26 balls, 2×6, 5×4) were main scorers.


Rohit Yadav, Deepak Punia, Shivank and Tishant Dabla took 1 wicket each.
