New Delhi: Host Shyam Lal College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Kirori Mal College and Delhi University Alumna have strengthened their position in the league round of the 11th Padmashri Shyam Lal Memorial Hockey (Women and Men) tournament.

In the men’s category, hosts Shyam Lal College defeated Hansraj College 7-1. Ashish Sehrawat scored two goals, Pratyush Singh Jaggi, Mohit Rana, Lalit, Priyanshu and Ashish Gupta scored one goal each.
Man of the match award was given to Ashish Sherawat of Shyam Lal College.


Shri Ram College of Commerce defeated Shyam Lal College (Evening) 10-1. For Shri Ram College of Commerce, Indrapal scored five goals, Divyansh and Vipin Nandal scored two goals each and Vibhanshu Tiwari scored one goal while Rohit scored a goal for the Shyam Lal College Evening.
Man of the Match award was received by Indrapal Singh of Shri Ram College of Commerce.

In the women’s match, Delhi University Alumna defeated Vivekananda College 2–0. Sunita scored both goals for Delhi University Alumna. Player of the Match award has been received by the player of Delhi University Alumina Manita.


In the men’s section Kirori Mal College defeated Amity University 6-3. Vishal scored two goals and Ashish, Dhruv, Mohammad Alam and Shresth scored one goal each.

Rupesh Balhara scored two goals and Thomas scored one goal from Amity University. The man of the match award of this match was received by Dhruv Dahiya of Kirori Mal College and Rupesh Balhara of Amity University was given Consultation Prize.
