India greets World Champion Boxer Jaismine Lamboria with a rousing welcome

New Delhi: India’s World Champion Boxer Jaismine Lamboria returned home to a rousing welcome after scripting history at the World Boxing Championships 2025 in Liverpool, where she clinched the gold medal in the 57kg category with a commanding win over Poland’s Julia Szeremeta in the final.

At the airport, Jaismine was received with much fanfare as her family, fans, and colleagues from the Indian Army greeted her with cheers and garlands. Jaismine is working as Naib Subedar in Indian Army.
