New Delhi: India U-19 captain Yash Dhull’s explosive century powered Bal Bhavan Dwarka to victory in the 41st All India Laxman Das Chhabra Memorial Cricket Tournament final.

In a thrilling final played at St. Stephen’s Ground, Mori Gate, Bal Bhavan Dwarka defeated Sporting Club by 46 runs to lift the prestigious title.

Batting first, Bal Bhavan Dwarka posted a massive total of 417 runs in 39.4 overs. Man of the Match Yash Dhull played a sensational knock of 133 runs off just 72 balls, smashing 12 fours and 8 sixes. He also impressed with the ball, claiming 1 wicket for just 6 runs.

Dev Lakra delivered an outstanding all-round performance, scoring 66 runs and taking 2 wickets for 48 runs. Yajas R Sharma contributed a quickfire 57 runs and also picked up 3 wickets for 68 runs, while Owais Ahmed added a valuable 51 runs. For Sporting Club, Prince Rana claimed 2 wickets for 54 runs.

Chasing the huge target of 418, Sporting Club fought hard but were bowled out for 371 runs in 39.5 overs. Goa Ranji Trophy and IPL player Lalit Yadav played a brilliant innings of 116 runs off 72 balls, including 11 fours and 5 sixes. He also took 2 wickets for 64 runs. Ankit Kumar scored 57 runs, Vikas Solanki made 40, Rishabh Drall contributed 46, and Mohammad Arbaaz added 37 runs. Monu Shukla showcased an impressive all-round effort by taking 4 wickets for 57 runs, but could not guide his team to victory.

Yash Dhull was awarded the Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance.

At the closing ceremony, Delhi U-23 player Yash Bhatia was honored with the Man of the Tournament and Best All-Rounder awards. The Best Bowler award was presented to Suryakant Chauhan, while IPL player Lalit Yadav received the Best Batsman award from Mohinder Chhabra.
