New Delhi: India’s new Badminton sensation World championships Bronze medal winner Lakshya Sen put another feather in his hat as he defeated World Champion Loh Kean Yew in straight games  24-22, 21-17 to win his first India Open men’s singles title.This was Lakshya’s first final at the Super 500 level or above on the BWF Tour.

Rakesh Thapliyal, Editor, Khel Today, presented Khel Today magazine to the Indian Badminton star Lakshya Sen.

Lakshya, who hails from Uttrakhand, has become household name from junior to senior level.

It was a double delight for India as Indian pair of Chirag Shetty /Satwiksairaj Rankireddy won their first ever Indian Open finals as they defeat World Champion pair of Mohammad Ahsan/ Hendra Setiawan 21-16, 26-24 in the men’s doubles event.
