New Delhi: Top Men and Women Wrestlers of the country will be seen in action in New Delhi and Lucknow to secure a place in the Indian teams for Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and World Championship.

The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is holding Selection trials as per details given below:

16.05.2022 at 0900 hrs. at STC, Lucknow for Senior Women & Cadet Women for following events:

1. 2022 Commonwealth Games – Senior Group

2. 2022 Asian Games – Senior Group

3. 2022 Senior World Wrestling Championship – Senior Group

4. 2022 Under-17 [Cadet] Asian Wrestling Championship – Under-17 Group [Cadet]

The trials for Senior Women Wrestling Teams will be held in 6 Olympic Weight categories whereas the trial for Under-17 [Cadet] girls will be held in all 10 weight categories.

17.05.2022 at 0900 hrs. at IG Stadium, New Delhi for Senior Free Style & Greco Roman Style for following events:

1. 2022 Commonwealth Games – Senior Group

2. 2022 Asian Games – Senior Group

3. 2022 Senior World Wrestling Championship – Senior Group

The trials will be held in 6 Olympic weight categories of Free Style & Greco Roman Style.

18.05.2022 at 0900 hrs. at IG Stadium, New Delhi for Under-17 [Cadet] Free Style & Greco Roman Style for following event:

1. 2022 Under-17 Free Style, Greco Roman Style & Women Wrestling Championship to be held at Bishkek [Kyrgyzstan] from 17th to 23rd June 2022.
