New Delhi: Bharat National Public School will organise 2nd Shri S.S. Khungar Memorial Sports Fest – Athletic Meet from 2nd November to 4th November 2023.

According to the Principal of Bharat National Public School Shri Kanwaljeet Khungar and coordinator Ms Pashmina Khungar, “This event will witness the participation of nearly 30 schools from the Delhi NCR region. The event is set to be an exciting competition for U14 and U16 boys and girls in various track events.”

Shri Khungar informed that, Mr. Himanshu Gupta (IAS), Director of Education, Delhi, will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Ms. Heeral Sadhu, a bronze medalist in Skating (Relay Team) in recently held Asian Games, will be the special guest of the event.

During the press meet, Principal Kanwaljeet Khungar emphasized the significance of this event and the enduring legacy left by the school’s chairman. He shed light on the school’s commitment to providing ample space for a playground, emphasizing the importance of physical education alongside academics. Additionally, Principal Khungar highlighted the remarkable achievements in co-curricular activities and the pivotal role of sports in the school’s educational framework.

The school maintains a dedicated team of sports teachers who cover a wide range of sports in the curriculum, ensuring comprehensive sports education for all students. The progression of sports in the school, as taught to the students, was also discussed.
