New Delhi: The President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu felicitated Indian women boxers, who brought laurels for the country in the recently concluded World Cup Boxing championships, here at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Indian boxers have won 20 medals, including nine gold medals in the World Boxing Cup Finals held at Greater Noida.

India’s World cup Boxing Championships medalists and Boxing Federation of India President Ajay Singh with Olympic medallist Vijender Singh and BFI Secretary Pramod Kuma and other officials of BFI were present during the meeting with the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. That was a moment that celebrates excellence, determination, and the rising stature of Indian boxing on the global stage.
