New Delhi: In an exciting fixture of the prestigious 50th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament, LB Shastri Coaching Club defeated Sahgal Cricket Club by 6 wickets at St. Stephen’s Cricket Ground, Mori Gate.

After winning the toss, LB Shastri opted to bowl first. Sahgal Cricket Club struggled initially, but skipper Md. Sultan Ansari led from the front with a quickfire 34 off 14 balls (1 four, 4 sixes). He was well supported by Ronit Berry, who scored a fluent 33 off 17 balls (3 fours, 2 sixes), building a crucial partnership to stabilize the innings. Sahgal managed to post a competitive 181/6 in 20 overs. Bittu Kumar got 3/23 and Yatish Singh 2/39.

In reply, LB Shastri Coaching Club chased down the target in 17.4 overs, finishing at 185/4, thanks to explosive performances from their top order. Rupank Aggarwal (80* off 43 balls, 4 fours, 7 sixes) – played a match-winning knock. Bharat Sidhwani (43* off 28 balls, 5 fours, 1 six),  Abhishek (36 off 18 balls, 4 fours, 4 sixes).  For Sahgal Club, Sartaj Ansari picked up 2/41.
