The T20 Cricket tournament will be played  among 12 teams on league-cum-knock out basis at two grounds  Backyard sports club and Dome Cricket ground at sector 59, Gurugram, Haryana. All the matches will be played with strict implementation of COVID protocol. New Delhi: The sporting events of All India Public Sector Sports Control Board will commence with Cricket from December 20, 2021. The All India Public Sector Sports Control Board ( AIPSSCB) is organizing T20 Cricket tournament with financial assistance from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) at Gurugram from 20 to 24 December 2021.

This will be followed by Carom organized by LIC at Jaipur, Badminton by HPCL at Bangalore, Table Tennis by ONGC and Volleyball by Coal India. The decision to hold these games was taken during the last Annual General Meeting of the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board held on December 7, 2021. Currently, 24 organizations are active members of the All India Public Sector Sports Control Board.

Subhash Kumar, CMD Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. and President AIPSSCB addressing  a press conference in this regard informed journalists that  T20 Cricket tournament will be played on league-cum -knock out basis at two grounds Backyard sports club and Dome Cricket ground at sector 59, Gurugram, Haryana.

Shri  Subash said, ‘All the matches will be played with strict implementation of COVID protocol. All the top cricketers employed by the Public Sector companies, if available, will play in the tournament. ‘

The glittering Trophy to be given to the winner was unveiled by Shri Subhas Kumar in the presence of HSP Sing, Vice President AIPSSCB  and ED ONGC, Gain Batra, General Secretary AIPSSCB and General Manager AAI. O P Dani, Treasurer AIPSSCB and CGM- FCI, former International Cricketers Sarandeep Singh, Amit Mishra and  Praveen Kumar.

The 12 Participating teams are : Airport Authority Of India, Air India, Bank Of Baroda, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd., Central Warehousing Corporation, Coal India Ltd.,Food Corporation of India, MTNL, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. And Reserve Bank Of India.
