New Delhi: The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) is thrilled to announce a landmark three-year broadcast collaboration with JioStar for the Season 2 of the Delhi Premier League (DPL). As part of this association, all matches will be broadcast on Star Sports 2 Hindi and streamed live on JioHotstar. This collaboration will bring uninterrupted live coverage of both the men’s and women’s tournaments to cricket fans across the country, further expanding the reach and visibility of Delhi’s premier T20 competition.

The broadcast agreement with JioStar reflects the rising stature and growing popularity of the DPL, which has quickly emerged as a crucial platform for local and national-level talent to showcase their skills. With its massive digital footprint and TV accessibility, fans will enjoy easy access to all DPL 2025 matches.

Season 2 of the DPL kicks off on August 2, 2025, at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi with a blockbuster opener between South Delhi Superstarz and defending champions East Delhi Riders. The much-anticipated clash is set to feature marquee names such as Navdeep Saini, Anuj Rawat, Ayush Badoni, and Digvesh Rathi, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.

The Delhi Premier League Season 2 will feature eight men’s teams, split into two groups. Group A includes Outer Delhi Warriors, Central Delhi Kings, New Delhi Tigers, North Delhi Strikers, while West Delhi Lions, East Delhi Riders, South Delhi Superstarz, Purani Dilli 6 will be part of Group B.

Each team will play 10 league matches – home and away against teams in their group and one match each against teams in the other group. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs, culminating in the final on August 31, with September 1 reserved as a backup.

The women’s competition will be held from August 17 to 24, featuring four teams in a round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the league stage will advance to the final on August 24.

Notably, the men’s tournament will feature a total of 44 matches, including the league stage, playoffs, and the final, while the women’s tournament will comprise seven matches in total.

This season of the Delhi Premier League will focus not only on top-level competition but also on fan engagement, digital accessibility, and nurturing emerging talent.
