Bunker Hill FD Golden League 2022-23 launched with a record number of teams

New Delhi: Football Delhi launched the Bunker Hill Football Delhi Golden league 2022-23 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 21st August morning.

The launch was graced by the presence of Mr. Kunwar Raj Bhansali – CEO and Director, Bunker Hill and select participating teams attending the launch. On this occasion the U-9 champions of the Khelo India Grassroots League was facilitated which was a four month long league for U9 and U11. The launch also saw exhibition matches being played for all categories at the JLN Stadium, New Delhi.

After two successful seasons of the FD Golden league, the Bunker Hill Football Delhi Golden league is all set to break all records with participation from all over Delhi NCR.

The Bunker Hill Football Delhi Golden League is bound to see more than 325 teams, 2000+ players, 2700+ matches, play in 3 age categories namely U7/9/11 spread in multiple zones throughout Delhi NCR to ensure participation of maximum youngsters in the league.

Lauding the launch of Golden League the chief guest Kunwar Raj Bhansali said, “It is very encouraging to see high number of participation in Bunker Hill FD Golden League. He wished the participating teams and players success and good luck.”

Football Delhi President, Shaji Prabhakaran thanked Bunker Hill for the support to Golden League and stated, “Football Delhi is creating this beautiful platform for children to be part of this beautiful game which would help them in kicking forward their love and passion for the game.”

He encouraged the parents and grand parents who attended the launch to join hands with Football Delhi in spreading the value of Grassroots Football and help the Association in creating further opportunities for these children who are in love with this beautiful game.”

The league is organized in support with more than 10 Associate Organizers spead across the National Capital Region.
