BMW Golf Cup 2025 National Finals Concludes in Style: Largest international tournament series for amateur golfers

Gurugram. BMW Group India concluded the BMW Golf Cup 2025 National Finals today at the prestigious DLF Golf & Country Club, marking the culmination of one of India’s largest and most exclusive amateur golf tournaments.

After an intense and exhilarating contest, Mr. Vignesh Ranga Rao – Coimbatore, Mr. Karan Agarwal – Bengaluru, and Ms. G Lakshmi Shweta – Hyderabad, emerged victorious in their respective categories. They will now proudly represent India and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the BMW Golf Cup World Final to be held in South Africa in 2026.

This year the 15^th edition of the BMW Golf Cup brought together over 1,700 amateur golfers from across India through a series of regional qualifiers held in nine cities, who earned their place after a season of exceptionalperformances in 16 qualifying tournaments held nationwide. The finalist competed in an environment that blended athletic excellence, luxury hospitality and unmistakable sense of BMW prestige. BMW Golf Cup 2026 regional qualifiers will expand to more cities (Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna and Vadodara)

BMW Golf Cup 2025 was held at spectacular golf courses across Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Noida, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Gurgaon. BMW Golf Cup 2026 regional qualifiers will expand to 4 new cities Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna and Vadodara taking this prestigious cup to 13 cities.

Elevating the tournament’s allure were brand partnerships with TaylorMade, Omega, Lufthansa, Vredestein, Google Pixel, Ballantine’s and HSBC. Together, they contributed to making the BMW Golf Cup 2025 India’s premier amateur golf series.

BMW Golf Cup, one of the world’s largest amateur golf tournament series can trace its roots back a quarter of a century to a British-based initiative that ran on its own for five years before going international. The tournament started as the BMW Invitation Tournament in UK. It has now developed into a global series with 1,000 qualifying tournaments involving 100,000 players in up to 50 countries. The best players from each nation qualify for the highlight, the BMW Golf Cup World Final.

India is one of 50 participating countries at the World Final of BMW Golf Cup 2025 which is a global series with 1,000 qualifying tournaments involving 100,000 players. The BMW Golf Cup is an amateur golf tournament series designed for customers, prospects and opinion leaders and provides the right mix for an exclusive social interaction.

The BMW Golf Cup has three categories, A (for handicaps up to 12), B (for handicaps 13 – 28) and Ladies Category (for handicaps up to 28). The winners, runners-up and second runners-up of the individual handicap categories qualify for the National Final. The winners in each of the three handicap categories in the National Final qualify to take part in the World Final of BMW Golf Cup.
