Dubai: India captain Rohit Sharma and New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra are among the prominent gainers in the ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings after capping the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 with some memorable performances.

Rohit’s 83-ball 76 at the top of the order that set up India’s chase of a target of 252 against New Zealand in the final in Dubai, has helped him advance two spots to third position while Ravindra has moved up in all three lists after shining in the semifinal against South Africa and putting up a valiant effort in the final.

Ravindra, who struck a match-winning 108 against South Africa and 37 against India, has gained 14 slots to reach a career-best 14th position. The left-hander won the Player of the Tournament award for finishing with 263 runs and three wickets in the tournament and the latest rankings update also sees him progress 22 places to 98th among bowlers and up eight places to eighth among all-rounders.

South Africa batter Rassie van der Dussen’s knock of 69 in the semifinal has helped him inch up one place to 13th while Glenn Phillips (up six places to 24th), David Miller (up five places to 26th), Kane Williamson (up two places to 27th) and Temba Bavuma (up one place to 32nd) are among the others to progress in the batting rankings.

In the bowling rankings, Mitchell Santner has advanced six places to a career-best second position after taking two wickets in the final and three in the semifinal while Kuldeep Yadav’s two wickets in the final see him advance three places to third position.

Ravindra Jadeja is back in the top 10 while Michael Bracewell (up 10 places to 18th), Lungi Ngidi (up two places to 33rd), Axar Patel (up two places to 38th) and Varun Chakravarthy (up16 places to 80th) are among others to progress in the bowling rankings.

Santner has advanced to fourth position among all-rounders while Bracewell has moved up to seventh in that list after his brisk 40-ball 53 not out in the final.
