The second online school in India to join ISSO’s extensive tournament network – celebrates a major sports achievement

New Delhi: The Himalayan School is proud to announce that its Grade 12 student, Tannishtha Prashanth Nair, achieved Double Gold Glory in swimming by securing first position in both the 100m Butterfly and 50m Backstroke events at the ISSO National Games 2025-26, held from 12th to 14th September 2025 at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune.

Representing The Himalayan School on the national stage, Tannishtha Prashanth Nair showcased extraordinary talent and determination, continuing her winning streak. Earlier, she made her mark at the Mumbai District Competition, securing 1st place in both the 100m and 50m Butterfly events and 2nd place in the 50m Backstroke, demonstrating consistent excellence in competitive swimming.

This achievement underscores The Himalayan School’s commitment to ensuring that online learners have access to the same opportunities for physical education and sports as traditional school students. Through its affiliation with the International Schools Sports Organisation (ISSO), the school empowers students to participate in both national and international sporting events.
