New Delhi: National Powerlifting Union (India) in a meeting held in Delhi welcomed the decision of Mr. Patrick Savio Almeida, Goa of joining National Powerlifting Union (Regd.) and while taking him into its fold appointed him as President of Western India Powerlifting Union representing Goa.
Expressing happiness over this development, Mr. Patrick reaffirmed his commitment to promote the iron sports among the youth of western India, especially Goa, with the expertise of Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan (Guruji), Mr. Olympia Pro-Power Lifting Mukesh Singh (Vice-President), Mr. Sujeet Khatri, Mr. Surender Singh (World & European Champion Powerlifting), and Mr. Shyam Khurana,  was also present in the meeting.
