New Delhi: The Fit India movement was  started by our sports loving Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His vision was well accepted  by the common people of our country. This movement also inspired  celebraties from all walks of life. For all of  them the target is to contribute in making India a Fit Nation.

The Advisory Committee meeting of Fit India took place here on Wednesday. Chaired by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju, the meeting was attended by Fit India Icons from all walks of life, who shared their vision of making India a Fit Nation.

Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju is very happy the way work force of Fit India movement is working. Few weeks back Rijiu has inaugurated the dedicated office of “Fit India” at Delhi’s Nehru stadium. Ms. Ekta Vishnoi is  Mission Director, Fit India SAI, she is working hard to take this movement to all the panchayats in villages.

 

Actor Anil Kapoor, Sprinter Hima Das, Indian Football Captain Sunil Chettri, writer Chetan Bhagat, Television personality Rannvijay Singh Singha, fitness professional Sapna Vyas were among those on the panel, besides members from FICCI, Tata Trust and other corporates. They freely expressed their views about the importance of Fitness in everyone’s life.
