New Delhi:  For the first time ever since the inception of the Khelo India Games in the year 2016-17, Khelo India Youth Games 2021 have featured partners and sponsors.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports’ (MYAS) Khelo India initiative has got a title sponsorship of Rs. 3cr from the State Bank of India (SBI), powered by sponsorship from Dream Sports of Rs. 1cr and associate sponsorship of Rs 50 lakhs by the Punjab National Bank (PNB).

Speaking about the initiative, SBI said “We are glad to partner with Khelo India, a movement that promotes and supports the importance of sprots and fitness for Indian youth. Under this initiative, sports persons from across the country come together and showcase the essence of team spirit, sportsmanship, and leadership. At SBI, we consider it a national duty to support the country’s youth to help them achieve their aspirations and thereby lead to a healthy nation. We believe there is tremendous potential in our youth to place India on world forums.”

Mr Bhavit Sheth, COO & Co-Founder of Dream Sports agreed with SBI’s sentiments and said “Dream Sports’ association with KIYG will not only strengthen our common goal to support the development of sports at grassroots level, but also provide a great platform to showcase the athletic prowess of India’s talented youth. Initiatives like the KIYG are reinforcing our country’s position as a global sports superpower and we are happy to be part of this journey.”
