New Delhi: Shyam Lal College has secured a spot in the final of the 5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh (Men & Women) Hockey Tournament, marking a strong performance throughout the competition at the grounds of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, Delhi University.

Shyam Lal College and Hansraj College registered big wins in the men’s category.

Shyam Lal College defeated Kirori Mal College 7–0 to enter the final with their fifth consecutive victory. For the winners, Pratyush Singh Jaggi, Nand Kishore, and Pankaj scored two goals each, while Manmohan added one goal. Pankaj was awarded the Player of the Match.

In another men’s match, Hansraj College beat St. Stephen’s College 8–0. Gaurav Jr. scored five goals, while Abhishek, Sagar Yadav, and Gaurav Jha scored one goal each. Gaurav Jr. received the Player of the Match award.

In the women’s category, Vivekananda College defeated Bharati College 3–0. Shubham, Rakhi, and Nikita scored for the winning team. Shubham was named Player of the Match.
