New Delhi: On the occasion of it’s centenary celebrations University of Delhi honoured sportspersons of yesteryear, who brought glory for the institution as a student and after completing their education contributing in the field of sports as a coach, Mentor or Administrator.

Shri Yogesh Singh, Vice chancellor, University of Delhi, honoured the international sports personalities from University of Delhi at rugby stadium sports complex on Friday.

Dronacharya awardee Shri Bhupender Dhawan, Arjuna and Dronacharya awardee Wrestler and National Coach Shri Jagmamder Singh,
Arjuna awardee Table Tennis player and National Coach Shri Manjeet Dua and Arjuna awardee International Swimmer Shri Bhanu Sachdeva and many others got the honour.
