Indian shooters Rudrankksh panwar, Divyansh Singh and Aishwary Tomar delivered a phenomenal total score of 1893.7 to set the new Asian Games and World Record in the team event. Indian Rowers gets fifth medal.

New Delhi: India has got first gold medal in the 19th Asian Games here on Monday morning. Gold medal is won by Indian shooting team of Rudrankksh panwar, Divyansh Singh and AishwaryTomar winning the 10m Air Rifle Team event at the FYY sports centre range.

shooters delivered a phenomenal total score of 1893.7 to set the new Asian Games and World Record in the team event.

Real story however is that two Indians Rudrankksh Panwar and AishwaryTomar have also moved into the individual 10m Air Rifle final.

India has also won a Bronze medal in Rowing.This is the fifth medal in Rowing.

Today in the Men’s Quadruple Sculls event, the Indian boat, represented by the stellar team of Satnam Singh, Parminder Singh, Sukhmeet, and Jakar Khan, clinched the bronze medal with a superb timing of 6:08:61.

Earlier With strength and determination, our men’s Coxless 4 Rowing Team of Ashish, Bheem Singh, Jaswinder Singh & Punit Kumar achieved a remarkable feat!

In the final race, they powered through the waters with a timing of 06:10.81, clinching the bronze medal.
