New Delhi: India’s Powerlifter Ritesh Dogra, a student of Dronacharya award winning coach Bhupender Dhawan, created history once again by winning 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal in Mr. Olympia Pro Powerlifting Championship, held on 10 to 12 October 2024 at Las Vegas, (USA) 2024.

Ritesh has dedicated these medals to Khelo India and Fit India movement started by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Ritesh secured 1st place in 90kg class with a total lift of 745 kg. He had a neck to neck fight in the bench press with Mark Hennings (body weight 90kg) from USA, who won the Gold medal and Ritesh Dogra won the Silver medal.

In 90kg Class Open Raw Deadlift Ritesh Dogra lifted his life’s best lift (with 305.kg) and won the Gold medal. Silver medal is won by the Roger Paz from Mexico ( lifted 303 kg. ).

Ritesh’s coach Mr. Bhupender Dhawan congratulated him for the outstanding performance and wished him good luck fir the future.
