New Delhi: A ‘Charcha’ on Physical Fitness and Lifestyle was organized by Dance Era Fitness And Aerobics & Fit2Train to provide knowledge to the youngsters who want to become stars overnight. The theme of the programme was inspired by the current waves that are passing through the young generation after the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Dronacharya Award winner and well respected Fitness Guru Bhupender Dhawan advised the gathering of Fitness fraternity in straight words, “there is no substitute to hard work if anybody wants to be successful in any field of life he has to work hard and one should not depend on luck.”

Many renowned speakers, who have experience of several decades in the field of sports and Fitness, shared their thoughts with the audience. The experts included the senior-most and much experienced physical instructor Dr. S. K. Lau who spoke on the cause of obesity and its prevention, Rita Singh an expert on women’s weight training and proper diet, Rakesh Thapliyal, a renowned sports journalist and Editor of magazine ‘Khel Today’ shared their views. Harmeet Luthra, a gym equipment expert, and Navin Kalra, an expert on protein food supplements. The audience was mesmerized and enlightened by the knowledgeable views expressed by the experts.

Rakesh Thapliyal, speaking on fitness in sports said, mental fitness also plays a very important role in the development of the sportsperson. He gave many examples of athletes who could not sustain success because they were not mentally strong.

Mr. Olympia Mukesh Singh and World Champion in Masters category Surendra Singh were felicitated in this programme. Well-known international athletes made their sparkling presence. Gurucharan Singh Babbar, Editor of The Sikh Times and Quami Patrika,  Simran Kaur Babbar, Senior Sub-Editor, Qaumi Patrika, distributed the prizes.

Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan, in his own style, expressed his views and inspired the younger generation.
