Mumbai: Former Delhi Ranji Trophy Captain Mr. Mithun Manhas has been elected  President of Board of Control for Cricket in India. Mr. Mithun was involved in the Cricket administration of Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association.

Mr. Mithun Manhas said, “It is a huge responsibility, and I give my assurance that I will be committed to doing it to the best of my abilities.”

The 94th Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was held on September 28, 2025, in Mumbai. The President of Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) Mr. Rohan Jaitley has been appointed Chairperson of the Infrastructure Committee of BCCI.

Mr. R.P. Singh and Mr. Pragyan Ojha have been newly inducted in the men’s selection committee.

Ms. Amita Sharma(Chairperson), Ms. Sulakshana Naik, Ms. Jaya Sharma and Ms. Sravanthi Naidu have been newly inducted in the Women’s Selection Committee.

The key decisions made are as under:

  1. The following members were elected as the new Office Bearers of the BCCI:

(a)  President: Mr. Mithun Manhas

(b)  Vice President: Mr. Rajeev Shukla

(c)  Secretary: Mr. Devajit Saikia

(d)  Joint Secretary: Mr. Prabhtej Bhatia

(e)  Treasurer:  Mr. A. Raghuram Bhat

  1. One representative of the General Body was elected in the Apex Council of the BCCI:

(a)  Mr. Jaydev Shah

  1. Two representatives in the Indian Premier League Governing Council were elected:

(a)  Mr. Arun Singh Dhumal

(b) Mr. M Khairul Jamal Majumdar.

  1. The audited accounts for FY 2024-25 were passed and adopted by the General Body.
  1. The Annual Budget of FY 2025-26 was approved by the General Body.
  1. Men’s Selection Committee was announced. The Selection Committee will have the following members:

(i)                 Mr. Ajit Agarkar

                    (Chairperson)

(ii)                Mr. Shiv Sundar Das

(iii)               Mr. Ajay Ratra

(iv)               Mr. R. P. Singh

(v)                Mr. Pragyan Ojha.

Mr. R.P. Singh and Mr. Pragyan Ojha have been newly inducted in the men’s selection committee.

  1. Women’s Selection Committee was announced. The Women’s Selection Committee will have the following members:

(i)             Ms. Amita Sharma

                       (Chairperson)

(ii)                Ms. Shyama Dey

(iii)               Ms. Sulakshana Naik

(iv)               Ms. Jaya Sharma

(v)                Ms. Sravanthi Naidu.
