New Delhi: Brilliant Unbeaten century by ‘Man of the Match’ Akshdeep Nath (107 not out,  94 balls, 14/4, 3/6 ) Rajesh Sharma (60) and Tejas Singh Baroka (3/48) helped Delhi Challengers beat Players XI by 5 wickets and Won the coveted Trophy of the 45th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Cricket Tournament at Modern school Barakhamba Road Ground.


Trophy and other prizes were distributed by shri Rohan Jaitley,  President DDCA,  Dr.Vijay Dutta,  Principal Modern School Barakhamba Road, Pawan Gulati, Treasurer, DDCA and Anil Choudhary, International Umpire.

Sanat Sangwan 54, Dhruv Singh 65, Arjun Rapria 2/31 shine with bat & ball but their efforts was not enough to save the Sporting Club team.

Rohan Jaitley praised the organizers and hoped that a Modern School student will be the part of Indian Cricket team in the next World Cup.
