New Delhi: Collage Cricket Club produced a determined all-round performance to defeat Gemini Cricket Club by 5 wickets in an exciting Group A league encounter of the prestigious 51st All India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament.

Batting first, Gemini Cricket Club posted a competitive 192/5 in 20 overs. Captain Siddharth Singh Beniwal led from the front with a superb 67 off 38 balls, smashing 5 fours and 5 sixes. He was well supported by Adwity Popli, who played a fluent knock of 48 runs, while Samarth Singh chipped in with 40 at the top of the order.

For Collage C.C., Arun Chaprana was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2 wickets for 45 runs, while Rajneesh Dadar also picked up two crucial wickets.

Chasing a target of 193, Collage Club got off to a brisk start through Abhay Chauhan, who struck 48 runs, and Siddhant Joon, who contributed 42. However, Gemini fought back with regular breakthroughs to keep the contest alive.

The chase was eventually sealed by a match-winning unbeaten partnership. Arun Chaprana showcased his all-round brilliance with a composed 37 off 38 balls, while Manish Sehrawat remained unbeaten on 24 to guide Collage Club to 198/5 in 18.1 overs, winning with 11 balls to spare.

For Gemini Club, Aditya Srivastava impressed with the ball, taking 2 wickets, while Arjun Rexwal also struck twice.
