UGCA beat Goswami Ganesh Dutt CC by 3 Wickets

New Delhi: The second match of the 1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup was played at Essex Farms Cricket Club & Academy, Chhawla between UGCA and Goswami Ganesh Dutt CC. UGCA defeated Goswami Ganesh Dutt CC by 3 Wickets.

In this first encounter of Pool B, GG Dutt won the toss and elected to bat first. 

Goswami Ganesh Dutt CC was restricted to 83 all out in 17.1 overs. Nikhil Chandail scored 31 runs in 25 balls. For UGCA, Gautam Saxena took 3 for 7 in 3.1 overs. In reply, UGCA scored 88 for the loss of 7 wickets in 15.3 overs, winning the encounter by 3 wickets. Gautam Saxena was brilliant with the bat too, scoring 21 runs in 16 balls. For Goswami Ganesh Dutt CC, Kartikeya Sharma took 3 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs.

MANAS JOSHI SPINS MOUNT CC TO VICTORY,  PRANAV RAJWAN SHINES WITH BAT

The third match of the 1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup was played at Essex Farms Cricket Club & Academy at Chhawla on 23rd January 2023, between Pelicans CC and Mount CC. In this first encounter of Pool C, Pelicans CC won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pelicans CC were all out for 115 in 18.1 overs. Parivesh Sharma scored a quick fire 26 in 13 balls, while Jatin Kadyan scored 27 in 24 balls. Manas Joshi and Vishal Rai took 3 wickets each in their stipulated 4 overs for 16 and 17 runs respectively. Pranav Rajwan scored 54 runs in 40 balls to power Mount CC to a win in 17.1 overs. Mount CC reached 116 runs, losing 4 wickets. Manas Joshi was adjudged as the Kimati Player of the Match for his bowling efforts.

1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup is being organized by NC Bakshi Academy for Cricket Excellence (NCB ACE) to take forward the principles and learnings of its mentor and guide Prof. NC Bakshi.
