Himanshu Singh guides L.B. Shastri Cricket Centre to victory in 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament

New Delhi: A brilliant knock by Himanshu Singh guided L.B. Shastri Cricket Centre to victory in the 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

L.B. Shastri Cricket Centre defeated Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Sporting Club were bowled out for 270 runs in 37 overs. Sarvesh Rohilla played an explosive innings of 76 runs off 49 balls, smashing 8 fours and 4 sixes. Lalit Yadav contributed 58 runs, while Vikas Solanki added 39 runs. For L.B. Shastri Cricket Centre, Yogesh Kumar picked up 2 wickets for 47 runs.

In reply, L.B. Shastri Cricket Centre chased down the target comfortably, scoring 273/5 in 37 overs. Himanshu Singh starred with a sensational knock of 94 runs off just 46 balls, including 12 fours and 6 sixes. Harsh Gupta scored 44 runs and also claimed 2 wickets for 31 runs in an impressive all-round performance. Abhiraj Gagan Singh remained unbeaten on 44, while Nihal Panji contributed 41 runs. Parnit Tiwari bowled well and took 3 wickets for 43 runs.

Himanshu Singh was awarded the “Man of the Match” for his outstanding performance. The award was presented by Ritusheel Verma.
