New Delhi: Outer Delhi Warriors XI produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat Friends C.C. by 8 wickets in a Pool C league encounter of the prestigious 51st All India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament. The tournament is one of Delhi’s oldest and most respected cricket competitions, currently in its 51st edition.

After winning the toss and electing to field, Outer Delhi Warriors’ bowlers restricted Friends C.C. to 113 runs in 13 overs. Friends C.C. struggled to build partnerships, with Ghanshyam top-scoring with 31 runs, while Dev Mehta contributed 27 and Yashwardhan Oberoi added 23.

The star with the ball was Aman Chaudhary, who delivered a sensational spell of 4 wickets for 18 runs in 3 overs. He received excellent support from Shaurya Malik (1/33), Shivam Sharma (1/20) and Kamal Kumar Birwat (1/15).

In reply, Outer Delhi Warriors chased down the target comfortably for the loss of just two wickets. Himmat Singh played a breathtaking match-winning innings of 77 runs off just 32 balls, smashing 8 fours and 6 sixes, ensuring there were no hiccups in the chase.

For Friends C.C., Suraj Satpal Rathore was the standout performer with the ball, claiming 2 wickets for 23 runs, but lacked support from the other end.
