New Delhi: Deadly bowling by Man of the match Saksham Sharma (5/31) and fine performances by Vaibhav kandpal (29 runs and 2/39), Abhishek Goswami (89) and Sarthak Ranjan (69) helped Rann star cricket club beat Carpediem India by 5 runs in the Super Over and won the title of the 46th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Cricket Tournament at Modern School Barakhamba Road.

Both teams were all out on same score of 262 in 39 overs.

Shantnu (108), Akshdeep Nath and Vineet Panwar (3/39) done well for Carpediem India.

Winner team got the prize money of Rs. 2,5000 and Runner-up team got Rs. 1 Lakh. Best batsman and Best bowler got Rs.11 thousand each. Best Allrounder got  Rs. 21 thousand and trophy.

Tournament Chief Guest Shri Gurcharan Singh, Dronacharya Awardee Coach and Guest of honour  Ms. Mira Pradeep singh, International Umpire Shri. Anil Chaudhary, Shri Pawan Gulati Treasurer DDCA, and  Principal of Modern School Dr. vijay Dutta gave away the awards to the players.

Best Batsman Shantanu, Best bowler Saksham Sharma, and Best All rounder Vaibhav Kandpal.
