Ravi Brothers beat Yorks CC by 40 runs in the inaugural match

New Delhi: The 1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup was Inaugurated on Sunday at PGDAV College, Nehru Nagar, Delhi by the Principal, Prof. Krishna Sharma and other dignitaries representing Delhi Cricket, and PGDAV College.

Ravi Brothers beat Yorks CC by 40 runs in the inaugural match.

Prof. Sharma and the other speakers spoke of Late Prof. NC Bakshi’s contribution to the College and taking Cricket to the masses. The 1st NC Bakshi Memorial T20 Cup is being organised by the NC Bakshi Academy for Cricket Excellence (NCB ACE).

The Inaugural Match was played today between Ravi Brothers CC and Yorks CC, with the latter winning the toss and electing to bowl first. Ravi Brothers CC scored 207 for 4 in their stipulated 20 overs on the back of a swashbuckling 85 in 51 balls by Saransh and a blink-and-miss 72 in 37 balls by Bhavya Kakkar. For Yorks CC, Manan Bharadwaj took 2 for 36 in 4 overs

In reply, Yorks CC was bowled out for 167 in 18 overs. Vansh Bedi scored 54 runs in 27 balls, while Shivam Bhan scored 47 runs in 35 balls. Harjeet for Ravi Brothers took 4 wickets in 3 overs giving 21 runs. Saransh Parashar from Ravi Brothers was adjudged the Kimati Player of the Match for his 85 runs in 51 balls.
