The occasion was graced with the presence of Prof Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Padam Shree Dr Sunil Dabas, Coach Indian Women Kabbadi Team and Dronacharya Awardee Shri Narender Singh Saini, Former Coach Indian women Hockey Team.

New Delhi: In its glorious sports history Motilal Nehru College (Evening) added a new chapter by celebrating Annual Sports Day.The day long events were concluded with declaring Munna Kumar as the Best Athlete in male student category and Namita Bhakhla in female student category.


The occasion was graced with the presence of Prof Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Padam Shree Dr Sunil Dabas, Coach Indian Women Kabbadi Team and Dronacharya Awardee Shri Narender Singh Saini, Former Coach Indian women Hockey Team.


In 100 meter race men winner was Chetanya Ahuja, in women category Namita Bakhla was the winner. In Shot Put Munna Kumar grabbed first position in men’s category whereas in women category winner was Mansi. In 1500 mtr race men again Munna Kumar was winner and in 800 mtr race women category Namita stood out as winner.

Ronak Dahiya was felicitated by our chief Guest and Guest of Honours for his outstanding achievements, securing Gold Medal in All India Inter-University 2024-2025, Silver Medal in Senior Nationals 2024-2025 and Silver Medal in World Championship Turkey, Istanbul.
Annual Sports Day was concluded with the valedictory address of Prof Sandeep Garg, Principal, Motilal Nehru College (Evening).
