PGDAV College Clinches DU Inter College Men’s Football Title After 25 Years

New Delhi: PGDAV College have won Delhi University Inter College Men’s Football Championship after a gap of 25 years.
In the hard fought final PGDAV College defeated Hindu College 4-3 in the tie-breaker. Aryan Karki, Prashant Bhandari, Yash Bhardwaj and Anurag Rawat scored for the winners.
Prof. Krishna Sharma, Principal of the PGDAV College congratulated all the players and hoped that this Football team will continue to dominate in the future also.
According to the Dr Manoj Rathi, Convenor Inter-College Football Tournament Committee, Sri Venkateswara College got the third place as they beat Hansraj College 12-11 in the tie-breaker of the hardline match.
In the year 2023-24 Hindu College was the winner and Sri Venkateswara was runners up. PGDAV College got the third place.
