A Historic Step for Disability Cricket – DCCI’s Message
This is the first time that the Divyam Cricket Awards have been held to formally recognize and honor disabled cricketers. Going forward, these awards will continue every year. We believe this initiative will further uplift the prestige of differently-abled players in society. At the same time, much more needs to be done to strengthen their recognition, so that players develop a stronger passion and sense of pride towards their game.
The Divyam Cricket Awards are not just about achievements, but a celebration of courage, resilience, and inclusivity. This historic step will inspire generations to come and provide a stronger foundation for disability cricket in India.
