Gaurav Chadha to lead Delhi Football team in Santosh Trophy

NewDelhi: Midfielder Gaurav Chadha will lead Delhi team for North Zone qualifiers in 75th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2021-22 to be held in New Delhi, starting from December 1, 2021.
Football Delhi selection committee named the squad of 22 players after 2 months long training camp held in Delhi.


Delhi has been placed in Group B with Punjab, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Delhi will start campaign from 1st December against Uttarakhand.

National level Football championship is back in National Capital as Delhi is hosting its home games including all matches of Group B in Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. All teams will stay in Bio-bubble during the championship and all necessary precaution is being taken as per covid19 protocol.

Goalkeepers: Avijit Devnath and Sayak Barai;
Defenders: Milind Negi, Neeraj Bhandari, Nitesh Chikara, Rahul Aswal, Rakshit Rawat and Rithwik Anand;
