LALIGA KICKS OFF THE 2022-23 SEASON THIS WEEKEND; CATCH ALL THE ACTION FROM SPAIN ON SPORTS18

New Delhi: The 2022-23 season of the Spanish LaLiga kicks off this Saturday, August 13 as former Europa League champions Sevilla FC travel to Pamplona to face off against the hosts, CA Osasuna, at 12:30 AM IST. The newly reinforced Barcelona squad featuring the additions of Robert Lewandowski, Franck Kessie, Jules Kounde, and Raphinha will start their season hosting Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, August 14 at 12:30 AM. Reigning league champions Real Madrid will be in action in their season opener on Monday, August 15 at 1:30 AM away against UD Almeria.

The Spanish LaLiga is ranked second in the UEFA Club rankings and is entitled to 7 teams in the top-three European competitions.

The Italian Serie A will also open its season this weekend with two games on Saturday, August 13. Sampdoria will host Atalanta at 10:00 PM while reigning champions AC Milan kick their season off by hosting Udinese at the same time.
