Wave City’s flagship team ‘Wave Riders’ to participate in Kapil Dev’s Trinity Golf Champions League (TGCL) 2024

New Delhi: The golfing world buzzes with excitement as Wave City, the first operational Hi-tech City in North India, announces the participation of its flagship team, Wave Riders, in the prestigious Trinity Golf Champions League (TGCL) 2024. Scheduled for a thrilling showdown in Bangalore this September, the tournament promises a unique blend of individual brilliance and strategic teamwork, reimagining golf as a captivating spectator sport.

With a squad of 20 talented players comprising professional golfers, celebrity golfer, and amateur club enthusiasts, Wave Riders embody diversity and skill and are all set to demonstrate their skills on the ground at the prestigious Karnataka Golf Association in Bengaluru in September 2024.

Featuring a minimum of 4 tournament rounds, played in an IPL-style format with teams representing 7 Indian cities and 1 foreign country, Trinity T20 brings a unique and thrilling format to the game.  This unique format adds an exciting layer of collaboration and team spirit, making every match a nail-biting spectacle for spectators. The Trinity Golf Champions League (TGCL), in association with Kapil Dev, is an innovative sports event that combines the excitement of golf with Celebrity Golfer’s participation. The tournament follows a Ryder Cup format, with teams representing six cities and two countries. The second edition of TGCL will be played at the Karnataka Golf Association in Bengaluru. This unique league is the only one where professional golfer, celebrity golfers, and amateur club golfers unite to form teams of 20 players each.
