Pilani: Delhi University’s Shyam Lal College defeated Shri Ram College of Commerce 5-0 in the final to win the BITS Pilani men’s hockey tournament.

This tournament is organized by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. Rajashthan.

The winning team Shyam Lal College also received a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.The runner-up, Shri Ram College of Commerce team, received a prize of Rs.10,000.

In the final played at the BITS Pilani ground in Rajasthan, for Shyam Lal College Nandkishore scored 2 goals and Pratyush Singh Jaggi, Abhishek and Harsh Sharma scored one goal each.

In the hard-line match of tournament, Hansraj College defeated host BITS Pilani 6-5 in the tiebreaker to finish third. The match between Hansraj College and BITS Pilani ended in a goalless draw during the Regulation time. Raviraj scored for Hansraj College and Ankit scored for BITS Pilani.
