New Delhi: Shyam Lal College of Delhi University defeated SAI Kurukshetra 2-1 to win the title of All India 43rd Shri Yut Baba Bhagat Smriti Hockey Tournament held at Shahjahanpur, district Kotputli, Rajasthan.

As a winner, Shyam Lal College team also received prize money of Rs 51000. The runner-up SAI Kurukshetra team received prize money of Rs 25,000.

For Shyam Lal College, Satish and Pratyush Singh Jaggi scored one goal each in the final match, while for SAI Kurukshetra, Sahajpreet scored one goal.

32 teams from all over India participated in this tournament.

The Best Defender of the Tournament award went to Rahul of Shyam Lal College, while the Best Forward of the Tournament award went to Sai Kurukshetra player Bittu.
