New Delhi: Host India lost the toss and asked to bat first against Namibia in the group A match of ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2026 here on Thursday at Arun Jaitley stadium.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav said that he was planning to bat first.

India have made two changes, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah who missed the opening game against the USA returns in place of Mohammed Siraj. Siraj has taken three wickets against USA and played very imortant role in the win.

Abhishek Sharma who was admitted to hospital with a stomach illness misses out, with Sanju Samson coming in his place.
