New Delhi: In an enthusiastic display of talent and sportsmanship, Korfball Delhi, in collaboration with the Korfball Federation of India, successfully hosted open trials for the much-anticipated World Beach Korfball Championship. The event staged at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Dwarka, saw a remarkable turnout of 37 skilled players from various states, showcasing the widespread appeal and growing footprint of Korfball in India.

The trials were attended by eminent members of Korfball Delhi, including Secretary Mr. Ravi Raj, Vice President Mr. Manveer Singh, and Treasurer Mr. Anil Kumar. Their presence added prestige to the occasion and served as an inspiration to the participants. Additionally, the trials were enhanced by the expertise of internationally recognized coaches – Mr. Manjeet Singh, Mr. Tarandeep Singh, Mr. Vinod Kumar, and Mr. Rajesh Kr. Saini, who offered their guidance and insights, ensuring a high standard of competition and evaluation.

This event is a testament to the dedication and efforts put forth by Korfball Delhi and the Korfball Federation of India in promoting the sport within the nation. The trials not only served as a platform for identifying and nurturing talent but also as a catalyst for advancing the sport’s popularity and reach across the country.
