New Delhi :  Achievers Empire Alcobrev and Velocity and Jindal Panther will Fight for 48 SMS Gold Vase (10 Goal) polo tournament trophy.

Aravali Polo, Sona Polo, Sujan, Jindal Steel & Power, Jindal Panther, Sahgal Stud and Achievers Empire Alcobrev participated in the tournament played in half league format.

Two Semi final matches were played today at Jaipur Polo Ground, New Delhi. Jindal Panther beat Sona Polo by 12 goals to 5 ½ and Achievers Empire Alcobrev beat Aravali Polo by 6 ½ goals to 5.

First semi-final was played with Jindal Panther and Sona Polo in which Jindal Panther beat Sona Polo by 12 goals to 5 ½. Mathew Perry scored 8 goals, Simran Shergill and Vankatesh Jindal scored 2 goals each for Jindal Panther while Siddhant Sharma scored 3 goals and Agustine G Grossi scored 2 goals for Sona Polo who started with ½ goal on handicap advantage.

Second semi final was played between Achievers Empire Alcobrev and Aravali Polo in which Achievers Empire Alcobrev beat Aravali Polo by 6 ½ goals to 5. Daniel Otamendi scored 4 goals, Sawai Padmanabh Singh scored 2 goals for Achievers Empire Alcobrev who started with ½ goal on handicap. Manuel F Llorente scored 3 goals, Angad Kalaan and Hurr Ali scored one goal each for Aravali Polo.

DG RVS CUP (2 GOAL)

DG RVS Cup (2 Goal) polo tournament was also played concurrently with high goal tournaments with 5 teams participating (Kara, Salvo, Cavalry-RVC, ASC, Navy-RVC). Finals of the tournament was played today at Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantt between ASC and Navy-RVC in which ASC emerged winners beating Navy-RVC by 7 goals to 2. Rehat Singh Virk scored 4 goals, Cdr Akhil Sirohi (Retd) scored 2 goals, Sep Ravinder Mang scored one goal for ASC while Capt (IN) AP Singh scored both goals for Navy-RVC.
