Indian team for Commonwealth Powerlifting & European Championship announced

New Delhi: Indian team for the Commonwealth Powerlifting & European Championship announced here on Saturday.
Championship will be held from 30th June to 2nd July, 2023 at Nottinghamshire, England.  Besides India, England, South Africa, Kenya and New Zealand are participating in this championship.
Five players who have been qualified and selected in the Indian team are Gulshan (75kg category), Ritesh Dogra (90 kg category), Surender Singh (100kg category), Prabhjeet Singh (110kg category) and Jagdish Singh (110+kg category).
The Indian team will be led by Dronacharya awardee Bhupender Dhawan(Coach) and Sujit Khatri  (Team Manager).
While expressing its gratitude to the sponsors Fitline and Muscle Mountain, Powerlifting Federation expressed that this kind of support generates extra energy, power and confidence in the players.
