New Delhi: The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) successfully concluded its largest ever National Judges Course at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, from February 21 to 25, 2026. A record number of 47 dedicated participants from various parts of India gathered for intensive training, marking another milestone in NRAI’s education program to elevate judging standards in shooting sports.

This five-day course, the biggest national batch conducted in India so far under the NRAI education program, equipped participants with essential skills in ISSF rules, range management, scoring protocols, and ethical judging practices. Delivered by certified NRAI instructors and ISSF A Judge License holder Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Singh and Mr. Arun Wareshi. The program combined theoretical sessions, practical drills, and assessments to prepare judges for high stakes national competitions.

NRAI Secretary General, Shri Pawan kumar Singh, commended the participants’ enthusiasm and the event’s impact, stating, “This record-breaking batch underscores NRAI’s commitment to building a robust cadre of skilled judges who will ensure fairness and excellence in Indian shooting sports. Their dedication today paves the way for India’s continued success on the global stage.”

Building on this momentum, NRAI will host the prestigious ISSF B Judge Course in March 2026, where select judges from this national program will receive advanced training to earn their international license, enabling them to officiate at world level events.

NRAI had also conducted the ISSF ‘B’ Coaches course in January, partnering with ISSF Academy in which 55 coaches graduated.
