New Delhi: Rifle events of the 42nd North Zone Shooting Championship are going on at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi, in which Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, and Chandigarh besides Railways, CISF, NCC, And SSB shooters are also participating. This is the first time that a shooter from Ladakh is participating in the shooting competition.

In the 50m 3 positions main event, Haryana’s Aryan Raj Kakkar shot 568 to win the gold medal, Rajasthan’s Aryan Palsania won the silver with a score of 566, and Haryana’s Talwar Singh fought hard with a score of 565. Giving won the bronze medal. Jury of Appeal of North Zone Shooting Championship and National Shooting Coach on this Deepak Kumar Dubey says that “Safety is the most important thing for us at the shooting range, every single player is told about safety, moreover all the officials and jury members present at the range make sure that safety rules are followed strictly. There should be no violation. Some people are afraid about the use of guns in shooting, but there has never been any accident in this game.
