TOPS aims to attract India’s best in the field of sports management

New Delhi: In a recent meeting regarding hiring of professionals in the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS) Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS), the Union Sports Ministry is planning to hire top Sports Associates, Athlete Managers, Lead Researchers and Senior Research Officers, Communication Managers, and Partnership Managers from best institutes around the world.

In the meeting, it was decided to upgrade the current salary structure of TOPS personnel so as to attract the biggest and mightiest minds of the country and abroad to manage India’s Olympic Program under TOPS.

While in the past many graduates from the world’s leading sports management institutes have worked under TOPS, with this revision, the Ministry aims to expand the team and attract better professionals from the field of sports.

The new hiring for TOPS is expected to begin later this month, with details on the job postings to be posted on the Sports Authority of India (SAI) website soon.
