Mumbai : The upcoming edition of the Tennis Premier League powered by Clear Premium Water, is all set to take the sport to another level in India. With the focus solely on uplifting and revolutionising the tennis ecosystem in India, Tennis Premier League’s co-founders Kunal Thakkur and Mrunal Jain are delighted to announce that Aditya Khanna has joined the leadership set-up as a Strategic Partner. TPL has completed 5 very successful seasons and are looking to crank up the intensity for season 6.

Aditya, who is well known within the tennis fraternity in India and across the globe, is the co-founder of Pickleball World Rankings (PWR) as well as the PTL Sports Group which runs tennis events of all age groups, tennis academies, coach’s education and foreign coaching programs. He has also founded and owns company that focus on sports infrastructure development and academies across India.
Among his most notable roles in the recent past saw him serve as the Tournament Director for two very significant Davis Cup events – the India vs Spain 2018 tie, which featured Rafael Nadal and was held at DLTA, and the India vs Denmark 2022 tie, held at the Delhi Gymkhana Club.

Additionally, as a player, Aditya has represented India and is the captain of the 35+ Indian Tennis Team at the World Championships with over 50 ITF masters titles internationally. He is the third generation of his family to be involved in Indian tennis, continuing a legacy of dedication to the sport. Aditya has also won 21 singles titles and 26 doubles titles, apart from 5 mixed doubles titles and has also competed in five World Championships so far in South Africa, Turkey, Portugal, USA and Croatia.
TPL Season 6 will see the likes of Rohan Bopanna, Sumit Nagal, France’s Hugo Gaston, and Armenian Elina Avanesyan battle it out for the top prize, at the iconic Cricket Club of India, which, over the years, has been home to some of India’s most memorable tennis events.
